About
Serafina writes moving, lyrical picture books which respect the complex inner lives of children. Her stories are filled with green hills, craggy mountains, snowy journeys, and castles made of moonlight. Her characters learn the power of cultural storytelling, the importance of generational memories, and find strengths they didn’t know they had.
Before writing for children, Serafina wrote for Power & Motoryacht magazine and the Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics.
A New York native, Serafina now writes and dreams in rural Virginia.
When not writing, Serafina is a very tired parent to three book-hungry little boys.
