About
Joel Haber researches, writes, podcasts, and lectures about Jewish Food history. He has written for numerous publications, and is in the process of finalizing his first full-length book, likely to be published in Fall 2026. Joel was born and raised in New Jersey, lived for many great years in NYC and LA, and immigrated to Israel in 2009. He lives in Jerusalem, and also works there as a tour guide, specializing particularly in culinary tours.
