About
I was born and raised in Argentina, emigrated to the US when I was a teenager, graduated from high school, then lived a nomadic life for several decades in South America and Europe. Taught Spanish and English (depending on what country I landed in) and worked as an academic translator, interpreter, and editor. Being young and naive, found myself in the midst of the military dictatorship in Argentina, had to run for my life, then fell in love with a Chilean and lived under the Pinochet regime. However in the midst of this nomadic life I managed to earn a Masters in Philosophy and Religion and a Doctorate in Theology and Spirituality, and became an adjunct professor at various universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Later, I changed careers and became a professional fund raiser for international aid programs and environmental organizations. Now, for the past 10 years, I have been working as a freelance writing coach and editor, and have just completed the first draft of my life's story. Oh, and by the way, I'm also a self-published poet and photographer.
