I'm a writer, ghostwriter and editor specializing in medicine, health, and social issues, but writing on other subjects as well. I write books, articles, white papers and more. I'm the author of I Never Called It Rape: The Ms. Report on Recognizing, Fighting and Surviving Date and Acquaintance Rape (HarperCollins). First published in 1988, it has been continuously in print since publication, with a 3rd edition in 2019. It was named to several "Best Books" lists.
I have edited/rewritten books for others, including a physician and medical educator, a business professor, a retired public relations executive and a corporate training specialist. I write articles for web and print publications, nonprofit organizations, universities and others.
I'm a member of the Authors Guild, the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), and Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ).
