Valerie B. Williams has had over a dozen short speculative fiction stories published in anthologies and magazines. Her short fiction has been published by Flame Tree Press, Dark Recesses Press, and Crystal Lake Publishing, among others. Her debut novel, a story of supernatural suspense titled "The Vanishing Twin" was released in October 2024 from Crossroad Press. Her first collection of short fiction, "Penfold's Menu of Magic and Malice," was released October 2025.

Valerie is an Active member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA). She earned a BS in Business from Johns Hopkins University and an MS in Systems Analysis from the University of Maryland. She lives near Charlottesville, Virginia, with her very patient husband and an equally patient Golden Retriever.
