About

E.S. Valdemar was born in the bustling city of New York. But, at heart, she is much a country girl, valuing nature, animals and general peace and inspiration those surroundings grant her. Since a child, she has been passionate in her love for storytelling. She began her journey as a visual artist as young as she could recall, a hobby of which she still practices. While she had developed a few stories during her early twenties, they never really were given a lot of commitment other than accompanying various art pieces. However, it was not until she read the obscure novel "Duncton Wood" by William Horwood in summer 2018 that gave her the much needed inspiration she needed. After that, she began developing her first true novel in May 2019; Her genre of choice is Animal Fantasy Fiction [Also known is small circles as "Xenofiction"], the genre in which Duncton Wood and Watership Down, another similar work, belong.

On the other side of things, she adores the Russian Borzoi, the art of animation for films like "The Secret of NIMH", "The Fox and the Hound", Balto", "Spirit" and others, and values the freedom of expression for stories, and the preservation of history.

She currently resides in her place of origin, though plans to embark upon a journey to find ultimate serenity in the rural lands beyond.
