Bold Sea Stories
Bold Sea Stories is a collection of nonfiction award-winning articles by ex-newsman Marlin Bree. All adventures are based on the author's experiences of interviews. The author writes about the legends and lore of the world's wickedest waters, from the South Pacific ("Ten Feet Across the Pacific") as well as upon (and in the dark depths) of the world's biggest inland ocean, Lake Superior ("The Old Man and the Inland Sea"). With a mariner's insight, he tells 21 tales of sailors fighting incredible challenges and winning -- sometimes. The articles have won 23 awards including two Grand Prize Awards in the annual Boating Writers International Writing Contest.
