About
I'm a retired journalist with more than 40 years in the newspaper business, and was lucky enough to work in a time when people not only knew what a newspaper was, but had it delivered to their doors. Most of that time was spent as a feature writer for The Arizona Republic in Phoenix. I'm the author of the middle-grade trilogy, "Dead Jed: Adventures of a Middle School Zombie," and my debut adult novel, "Upton Arms: A Retirement Home for Supernaturals," will publish in October 2025. After decades in the desert, I'm now enjoying the cooler climes of the Pacific Northwest with my wife and handful of dogs.
