About

Anna-Isabella Dinwoodie earned an MFA in creative writing and literary translation from Queens College, CUNY, where she served as translations editor at Armstrong Literary. A 2019 Bread Loaf Scholar, Dinwoodie works as a freelance translator in Berlin, where she also makes visual poetry and performance art.

The first book of poems by Austrian writer/artist Liesl Ujvary, this work, co-translated with Ann Cotten, is a missing piece in the mosaic history of concrete poetry and of avant-garde women writers and was longlisted for the 2026 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation.
