About
I am a urologic surgeon with a keen interest in Renaissance art and art history. My research has focused on Michelangelo and his artistic expressions in sculpture and painting, specifically the Sistine Chapel Ceiling. His knowledge of human anatomy is accurately represented as well as a multitude of medical conditions which are included in my book entitled "The Sistine Chapel Ceiling: Organized Chaos in Fresco". The Ceiling fresco elements are dismantled to their basic forms and several novel interpretations are generated.

The Sistine Chapel Ceiling: Organized Chaos in Fresco"
The principles of organized chaos are applied to the Sistine chapel Ceiling. The ceiling elements are dismantled into their basic components and reveal cryptic messaging and exciting novel interpretations. Many of the fresco panels are re-interpreted clearly documenting Michaelangelo's frustration with the triumvirate of torment including Pope Julius II, Rafael and Bramante. Furthermore additional data are suggested from medical interpretations about the linkage to the Laocoon 1504 sculpture.
