Aaron R. Even is an award-winning novelist and writer for television whose documentary work has appeared on National Geographic, Discovery and Smithsonian Channels. His programs explore a broad range of scientific, historical and contemporary subjects from global volcanism and ancient civilizations to organized crime. In 2000, his debut novel Bloodroot (Thomas Dunne Books) won the AWP Novel Award. His second novel, He Comes In Fire (Atticus Books), won an Independent Publisher Book Award for Best Regional Fiction in 2017. He earned an M.F.A. in fiction writing from the University of Virginia in 1995.
