About
I was born in Massachusetts and wrote extensively in high school, but after graduation, life got in the way - things like marriage, kids, full time jobs, paying the mortgage, etc - and writing fell by the wayside. But when I was laid off from a position in the mortgage industry, I returned to college at age 47 to get a degree in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Studying literature, from Shakespeare to modern classics reinvigorated that love for writing. I started writing fiction again and have been working towards getting published ever since. It’s been a few years now and I have retired from outside work and moved to North Carolina. I now have the time to write full time and have decided self-publishing is the correct path for me.
Under the name S E Knight I have self-published 18 short stories, individually and in three collections. I am currently working on a novel to be published in 2025. I write Fantasies and Mystreries, with a little Horror thrown in and when the current novel is finished I am going to try my hand at a Romantasy.
