Lady of the Street: Beginnings

Historical Fiction series (Book One): Following the brutal deaths of her father and brother, Laura steps off the ship in New York's harbor in 1898. At 18 years old, she begins her quest to be free from poverty, prejudice, and disease still haunting her Ireland home. Frightened but determined, she meets her first love. She then plunges into the shadowed corridors of Wall Street and champions those struggling with suffocating tenement living and the corruption that surround them. With courageous faith and the love of her life, she breaks through "The Street's" permeating Irish and gender walls to build a life of wealth and redemptive purpose for herself and others.

- Endorsement for book - Celebrating Your Journey, Lifeskills in Synergy "It is a real pleasure to offer my endorsement of Sharon Benedict‘s lifeskills book...I can think of no higher recommendation than to tell you that when I was faced with a serious health challenge more than four years ago and required an ally to help me manage my return to full-time work, while in the midst of rehabilitation and recovery, I sought out the woman I considered the best wellness coach I had trained and contracted with her for wellness coaching services. Beyond the provision of direct service, the organizational skills and the ability to synthesize and compile information then put it into useful form that directly impacts a person‘s life is something else about Sharon I have been impressed with. I therefore, without reservations, recommend her book..." Michael Arloski, PhD., CEO, Real Balance Global Wellness Services
