About
Jackie is a life-long writer. She is the indie author of two poetry books, Life Forces a Journey (2001) and Hitting Bone (2004).
Both of these books are part of the Tretter Collection in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Studies, the largest collection of LGBTQ+ history in the Midwest, located in the Elmer L. Andersen Library at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN.
Her current book, Losing Katy: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Living Grief, will be available this summer (2025). Katy's death (and their life together) brought Jackie back to writing for publication.
Originally from Wisconsin, she moved the Minneapolis, MN area 40 years ago. She now lives along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior.
