Families, biological and found, are in everything Mere writes, and she writes a little bit of everything, including short stories, novels, screenplays, and stage plays. When she's not writing, she's reading. Ever since she won an award at age fourteen for reading all the books in her school library, it’s been a necessity in her life to always have a book nearby. There are times when raising her four daughters interferes with Mere's ability to read, but she feel they’re a worthy distraction. Mere has self-published three books, had a first chapter published in The Write Launch, and was listed in the top 25 ‘Writers to Watch’ by Glimmer Train. Mere Walton is also an award-winning screenwriter.
