I am a debut author with a background in elementary education and instructional design. I obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University with a concentration in children’s literature. I’ve been a writer for as long as I could hold a pencil, a lifelong lover of children’s books, and a mom of two…who I can now use as an excuse to buy all the children’s books! Life was hectic for a few years as I started my family, but now I am ready to pursue this journey toward becoming a represented and (hopefully) published author. I’m eager to submit this manuscript in hopes of contributing to the wonderful world of Kid Lit!
