I'm a Minnesota writer and journalist who started her career reporting for Reuters in Moscow, Russia. Then I moved back to MN where I now work for Minnesota Public Radio, and National Public Radio and write books. My first book, a memoir co-written with the first American woman to join the Bolshoi Ballet Theater, is "Behind the Red Velvet Curtain: An American Ballerina in Russia." It comes out in March 2025.
