I am a horror fiction writer who has written on the side since I was a teen. It was always a form of stress relief rather than something I considered as a path to publishing, but in recent years I’ve become more serious about writing outside of my career. I am working on getting some work published, but these things take time and persistence, so I am not sure when I’ll have my first real publication outside of the science/research arena.
