By day, EMMA JANE KING works as an executive assistant and confidante to a CEO. By night, she stays up far too late reading psychological thrillers, writing dark domestic thrillers, or watching true crime, exploring obsession, secrecy, and the dangerous choices people make.

She has an MA in English and Creative Writing from SNHU and a BA in English from the University of Houston-Victoria. An Austinite since 2009, she lives in Texas with her husband and two dogs.

Emma Jane is a member of the Writers' League of Texas (WLT), Women's Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), The Authors Guild, and ACES: The Society for Editing.

The Other Father is her debut novel, though she has been writing fiction since childhood.
