About

I am the author of a history book published by Syracuse University Press in December of 2018 entitled "Rural Indigenousness: A History of Iroquoian and Algonquian Peoples of the Adirondacks." In addition, I’ve had several peer-reviewed articles published in scholarly journals based on my PhD and post-doc research.
At the moment I am concentrating on getting my debut novel, "Embracing the Skies" polished and ready to pitch to an agent. It's an upmarket women's fiction piece with romance elements. While not a historical novel (next one) I did take advantage of my historical research skills for my fiction writing, such as identifying, gathering, and organizing pertinent information as well as employing my social history research focus on every day people's stories.
