About

Hello:

I'm dual-career author and mediator/facilitator Ann Marie Hannon, dedicated to bringing books to kids all over the world that help them to solve normal, but critical worries. My certified Mediator skills and abilities have been important in terms of all my books...all based on teaching kids how to solve worries in remarkably easy to understand ways. Kids with worries love learning this way and each of my stories involve kids with the same worry. It’s totally win-win and easily resonates with kids and parents too.

There are kids with worries all over the world, in different races, nationalities, ethnicities, but their normal worries have overriding similarities. With my books, kids get a sense that if they use their imagination in a correct and reasonable way to solve normal worries, they can “get over it” to “move on” in order to be well-positioned for new worries that may come their way from time to time. Nelson Mandela said, “I never lose; either I win, or I learn.” My author's mantra is similar, and is, “Kids with worries; never lose. They either “solve it” and win; or see other kids “solve it” and they learn."

In today's world, kids are looking for answers beyond what they may see on TV or in films with kids b on kids or bullying and name-calling the "little guy" just to be "on top of the game." But seriously, that is not the answer. So, I try to "give kids a chance" to wit, I'm listing some verified reviews for my latest book, "The Power of a Flower" which has received a prestigious Mom's Choice Awards GOLD seal of excellence in family friendly media.

The reviews for this book are listed below and I am honored and grateful:

Love the thought and message of this book. Perfect book for teaching children about finding hope when feeling abandoned or when hard things happen.

"The Power of a Flower" is a beautifully crafted story that teaches children the importance of asking for help and the strength found in friendship. Ann Marie's creative depiction of pollination as a key to saving the flower is both educational and delightful, making the story a memorable experience. This heartwarming tale encourages young readers to open up, share their concerns, and find comfort in the support of others, all while fostering a deep appreciation for nature's wonders.

This is a very cute and inspiring story about a girl and her flower. It follows through the entire life cycle of the flower and begins again at the end of the story. It also teaches kids about pollination, and it has a nice friendship theme as well. The illustrations are beautiful and help to enhance the story.

I continue to write kids' books and am also working on the adaptation of a cookbook I wrote many years ago as well as a non-fiction book that offers a complete program from birth through the toddler years and beyond for mother-baby fitness. Please contact me too, I love talking about books and writing.
