Daniela Evan has been a breast cancer survivor since 2021 and, therefore, a member of the Breast Cancer Club. Daniela was born in Cambridge, MA. After years of traveling and moving around, she returned to Cambridge with her husband, where they are raising their two children. As a dual US-Chilean citizen, she also spent much of her childhood in Chile. With a background in business and a career that has included roles in marketing, human resources, operations, and business development, Daniela currently holds the position of COO at Cognitive Investments. She earned her BS in Business from Skidmore College. Daniela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, skiing, swimming, attending Boston team sports events, and seeing live music.

Yael Beals has been a breast cancer survivor since 2016 and is, therefore, a member of the Breast Cancer Club. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. Born in Boston, MA, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. With a Bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from Ohio University and a Master’s degree from Emerson College, Beals began her career in television production at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in the science media group. She recently co-produced the documentary, “Resistance—They Fought Back.” She serves on the Women In Film and TV International board and teaches film and photography at Boston University. She loves spending time with her family and friends, scuba diving, skiing, and walking her dog, Coco.
