About

P.M. Raymond is an award-winning author and aspiring screenwriter from New Orleans whose work spans horror, crime, and Southern Gothic fiction. In horror, she was a finalist in the 2024 Killer Shorts Screenplay Competition and a semifinalist in 2025 and 2026, as well as a 2025 semifinalist in Horror2Comic. In crime fiction, P.M. Raymond was a finalist for the Claymore Award and the recipient of the Sisters in Crime Eleanor Taylor Bland Award.

Her latest release, Things Are As They Should Be and Other Words to Die For (Uncomfortably Dark Horror), is a love letter to New Orleans' Southern Gothic atmosphere and crime noir traditions. Her short story, "Double Dutch Dare," was selected for inclusion in The Best American Mystery and Suspense 2026.
