Olive is an established author, educator and radiographer. Her published works include: Mammography and Breast Imaging: Just the Facts; Lange Q&A Mammography Examination, a mammography question and answer review book; Mammography and Breast Imaging Prep, a comprehensive breast imaging textbook; and Radiography Flashcards, a projection reference guide for radiographic procedures.
Other published books are Radiographic Positioning: Pocket Guide, The Dangers of Medical Radiation, Spanish for Professionals in Radiology, an English to Spanish translation of often-used, technical terms and radiologic instructions and Life After High School, Traits that Help & Traits that Hurt, explains positive and negative traits that can help or hinder students in their post high school life.
Olive has also written works of fiction including young adult novels: The Starlight Kids, Mystery of the Feather Burglar, The Intruders and Linked.
