About
Jesse is an Author and Freelance Editor. Her short work has a appear in a range of markets, including the Saturday Evening Post, Cosmic Horror Monthly, and Poetry Hall, a bilingual publication by the Chinese Poetry Association. Jesse holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. While she writes and reads in multiple genres and forms, her main loves are lyrical picture books, creepy middle grade novels, and horror and historical fiction for teens and adults.
A graduate of the AWP mentorship program, Jesse is also a judge for the popular online writing platform NYC Midnight. Her professional memberships include The Author's Guild (AG), the Association of Writers and Poets (AWP), PEN America, and the Editorial Freelancer’s Association (EFA).
