I am an author with imposter syndrome who recently began my writing journey. I spent many years in Government Affairs (yes - it’s as boring as it sounds) before I found an old high school writing prompt and decided to see what I could do. Now, I am going to be published soon and I am working on my second novel!

Two polar opposite high school seniors find themselves in an unfortunate living situation halfway through their senior year. Teagan, who grew up in a rough area and a mom with addiction, resents Emmaline for her silver spoon life and holier-than-thou attitude. Emmaline, who grew up in a well off religious home, hates Teagan’s presence and her deep rooted prejudices. As they navigate the challenges of their meshed lives, their resentment slowly begins to unravel. Despite their initial hatred, Teagan and Emmaline find themselves drawn to each other in ways they never expected.
