About
Miranda Mazariegos is a Guatemalan journalist, writer, and translator. She began her career at NPR, contributing to programs such as Radio Ambulante, Consider This, Throughline, and All Things Considered. Her work explores the culture, history, and politics of Latin America. She translates from Spanish and Portuguese. Miranda also uses her passion for storytelling to teach creative writing classes in both English and Spanish. She graduated magna cum laude from USC and is now an MFA candidate at Columbia University, where she is working on a collection of essays and teaching through the University Writing Program.
