About

I am the bestselling author of more than 200 children's books. Currently, I am writing the Dragon Masters series for the Scholastic Branches line. I also write many of the Cupcake Diaries books under the name Coco Simon.

I also write books based on licensed materials, everything from guidebooks to readers to chapter books to activity books. Many millennials know me as the author of dozens of Pokemon chapter books in the 2000s.

I live and work in New York's Hudson Valley, where I share my home on and off with three stepkids, and all the time with my husband, Bill, and our dogs, cat, and chickens.
