About the Service
I am a literary translator from Spanish: Mexico and Spain are my particular focus. I am available to translate novels, screenplays, queries, fragments, and to evaluate manuscripts for publishers who are interested in commissioning translations of books from Spanish. My translations have appeared in Two Lines Press, Exile Quarterly, World Literature Today, and others. My English version of the collection "Meaty Pleasures" by Mexican author Mónica Lavín will be available in 2021 (Katakana Editores, Miami). My writing about Latin American literature and writers has appeared in Asymptote, The Sewanee Review, Reading in Translation, and other venues. I also write literary fiction.
