I've spoken widely, mostly lecturing about my books.  I'm The author of some 40 books, mostly nonfiction.  Popular topics include my biography of Eric Hoffer (AMERICAN ICONOCLAST); how wealth influences America (THE FOUNDING FORTUNES);  ecnomic disasters (THE DAY AMERICA CRASHED, 1929), real estate (SKYSCRAPER DREAMS), and social studies (RUMSPRINGA: TO BE OR NOT TO BE AMISH),  Venues include The FDR Library, Smithsonian, New York Public Library, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Stanford, Newberry Library, private clubs and historical societies, as well as through Zoom and other remote platforms.  Fees vary according to the size of the audience and the distance from my home in Northwest Connecticut.  More details on my website, www.tomshachtman.com
