I offer mentoring, copy-editing, and developmental critique services for all levels of writers, at any stage of a project. I specialize in science-fiction, fantasy, and horror in both adult and young adult. I have experience with novels and short stories, poetry, plays, and creative non-fiction. However, I am open to all genres of writing.
I have twenty years of teaching experience and ten years of freelance editing experience, working with a variety of genres and authors at all levels of experience. Overall, my goal is to help develop you into a better writer. I aim my mentoring and critiques toward your personal goals, always with a focus on finding ways to help you hone your skills through the project. I don't judge your writing for whether it's good or bad, but always look for ways we can use your current project to improve mastery of your craft.
