Sue Eisenfeld

Sue Eisenfeld is a dynamic and skilled professional with 30+ years of experience as a professional writer and editor, communications consultant, business development consultant, and senior project manager/director of editorial services/director of video services in environmental consulting, and an environmental policy analyst. She's been a freelance writer since 2003, writing for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Forward, and other newspapers; the peer-reviewed journal Health Affairs; travel and history magazines, and many literary journals. She is the author of two books of literary nonfiction--"Wandering Dixie: Dispatches from the Lost Jewish South," and "Shenandoah: A Story of Conservation and Betrayal"; contributing author in "The New York Times' Disunion: A History of the Civil War." In addition, she is a faculty lecturer at the Johns Hopkins University M.A. in Science Writing program, serves as a manuscript reviewer for the University of South Carolina Press, and works as a writing coach to provide one-on-one support to individual writers working on creative nonfiction projects.
