Won the Bram Stoker Award from the Horror Writers Association 2005 for Best Horror anthology. Has been nominated three times 2005, 2007 & 2008. Also shortlisted for the Shirley Jackson Award and won the Black Quill Award for writing. His business of Dark Delicacies was the recipient of Italy's Posto Nero Award 2012.
