Licensed in Texas and based in Austin, I provide legal advice to writers, illustrators, publishers and other creative professionals. I especially like reviewing agency and publishing contracts, and I provide a low-cost, flat-fee contract review to make sure every author can afford to get high-quality legal advice on their contracts. I draft publishing and illustration contracts, provide fair-use analysis, and advise clients on defamation and rights of privacy and publicity (including pre-publication review). I'll also handle "quick questions" for a reasonable charge.
