As a memoir ghostwriter, I help people tell and publish their story. My latest book publication, together with John Miller, is a business memoir titled Bootstrap Entrepreneur. To discuss how I can help you with your writing needs, email me at christina@chswriter.com.
I began my career as an on-staff reporter at Die Presse, the leading national daily newspaper in Austria. During eight years at the publication, I worked on the national and international desks and edited the book review section for three years. After leaving Die Presse, I continued to work for the newspaper as a freelance journalist based first in Prague and then in Los Angeles.
During my career, I have interviewed party leaders, ministers, authors, high-profile lawyers and athletes. As a profile writer, I have portrayed musicians and artists, including the Austrian illustrator Lisbeth Zwerger, who won the international Hans Christian Andersen Medal. I interviewed the American novelist John Irving and fellow Austrian ex-pat Wolfgang Puck.
Since moving to Los Angeles, I have written dozens of personality profiles for institutions of higher education, including the University of Southern California and Claremont McKenna College. Among the individuals I portrayed are Edward Loh, Editor in Chief of Motor Trend magazine; Randol Schoenberg, the attorney of "Woman in Gold" movie fame; Olympic champion Inger Miller; Sheryl Gordon McCloud, a judge on the Washington State Supreme Court; and Jean Rosenbluth, a magistrate judge in Los Angeles.
One of my profiles and two of my feature stories earned Los Angeles Press Club awards.
