About the Service

I'm a ghostwriter and book collaborator specializing in memoir, cookbooks, expert-driven nonfiction, and projects rooted in place, culture, and identity. I work with authors from early concept and book proposal development through research, interviews, structure, drafting, and full-manuscript collaboration. I work primarily in traditional publishing and supports authors in finding and securing agents to represent their books to traditional publishers.

My current and recent collaboration work includes projects under contract or on submission involving Japanese fusion cuisine, craft beverages, neurodivergent cooking, chef-driven books, travel memoir, and leadership. She also provides book planning and concept development for Forbes Books and is represented by Rob Firing at Transatlantic Agency.

Kelsey's essays and interviews have appeared in The Rumpus, African American Review, ParentCo, Off Assignment, USA Today, The Austin Chronicle, and IBPA Independent, and her work has been featured in HuffPost. She has taught and spoken for organizations including the Authors Guild, Editorial Freelancers Association, Women's National Book Association, and Women in Publishing Summit.
