About the Service

Lisa has written for publications such as Real Simple, Parents, Romper, The Rumpus, Texas Highways and more. She covers all things Texas, quirky history, strange Internet stories, the craft and business of writing, lifestyle topics, and pretty much anything that makes for a good story/needs to be said. 

 

Her fiction and essays have also appeared in Puerto del Sol, Washington Square Review, Carolina Quarterly, and more. Her story, "Kitten," which appeared in Pidgeonholes, was nominated for Best Small Fictions 2020. Her story, "The Coma," which appeared in the final issue of Natural Bridge journal, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is currently at work on her second book. She is represented by Kerry D'Agostino of Curtis Brown, Ltd.
