About the Service

       I'm a published non-fiction writer trying to update a friend's 10-year-old Y/A magical realism MS.   I need a pair of expert eyes to review the MS in its current draft and offer suggestions for improvement. 
     The story:  Sage, is an innocent 20 yr old physics student, who claims he likes his insular life, has zero psychic abilities and wants to keep it that way.  He is stunned when he is contacted by an earth Spirit who wants his help to save her humans from an upcoming earth-based mega-disaster.  Sage says he's too young for the task.  She ignores him and presses on.  He then finds he can listen and talk with other earth and planetary spirits.  He feels like he's losing his mind.  His boss, an ageless Shaman, convinces him to accept the assignment and brings in reinforcements from his network to coordinate the many challenges for helping people prepare for the coming upheaval.  The story contains many unusual characters, unlikely collaborations, surprises, failures, and experiences. Of course, Sage eventually grows into his calling and becomes the leader he was meant to be. And yes, he finds romance.
