Dr. Latorial Faison is an award-winning poet, professor, author, veteran military spouse, independent researcher, and teaching artist from Virginia. With over twenty years of experience as an educator and poet specializing in diverse populations, Faison inspires through her life's work and her belief in mankind, achieving dreams, and being the change we wish to see in society. Faison's work focuses on education, culture, identity in the forms of oral history, narrative poetry, and creative writing.
