I have over a decade of professional experience, having worked in comedy (The Onion, Comedy Central), local reporting, education, EMS, music criticism (the website Genius), and on bestselling nonfiction business books. I also have an MFA in fiction writing from Bennington College, have field experience in a variety of day jobs, and work summers at a local maritime history museum.
I have particular expertise in collaborative work that maintains the clients' personal voice but helps shape it into a clear, punchy, memorable narrative. I also specialize in taking niche subjects and making them interesting, accessible, and connected to readers' experiences.
