MATT McGEE is the founding editor of Falling Star Magazine, a literary publication originating in Los Angeles in the winter of 2000.
In 2017 he co-authored and edited the book Everything Will Be OK with Dr. Janna Fond, which reached best-seller status in Amazon's self-help category and recently entered its second printing.
In September 2025 he established the collection TV-63 after an East Coast editor sent out over five dozen pat rejection notices to authors, hastily CC'ing them all together. Pulling together the work of writers from three continents, the book shot up the Amazon short story collection rankings. An essay about the lemons-into-lemonade episode was published by Suzanne Miller on LinkedIn, and the book's artwork was provided by Dana MacKenzie of 'Call of Duty' fame.
A six-time Pushcart nominee, his specific focus is on short form fiction, usually less than 15,000 words per piece. He also works with authors on novel-length fiction, specifically in the literary, humor and romance fields.
