About the Service

I am a nationally published American author with more than 35 years of experience working with writers from beginners to prize winners. For the past ten years, I have been working with writers as a coach, book doctor, and editor in genres ranging from memoir to historical novels, sci-fi, and fantasy. My published books include "Infusions of Healing" (Mexican-American Traditional Medicine, pub. Simon & 5) and my memoir, "Marked for Life" (pub. Crown). I edited two volumes of short memoirs for Alfred A. Knopf ("Las Christmas," "Las Mamis")and I have also published a novel, "I Wouldn't Leave Rome to Go to Heaven," My latest book, "An Unofficial Marriage," a historical novel, was published by Arcade in March 2021. I work every day with authors of fiction and non-fiction, in a variety of books in all genres.
