About the Service

Lisa Bubert is a writer, editor, and librarian in Nashville, TN. She is the owner and operator of All Things Words. Her work has appeared in The Rumpus, Puerto del Sol, Washington Square Review, Carolina Quarterly, Texas Highways, and more. Her fiction has been nominated for Best Small Fictions (Pidgeonholes) and a Pushcart Prize (Natural Bridge Journal). She has been writing, editing, and working as a youth librarian for over ten years. She is no stranger to a first draft and loves participating in critique circles.

Lisa specializes in copywriting, copyediting, fact checking, research, proofreading, submission packets and consultation, developmental editing and literary coaching for manuscripts, and manuscript evaluation with specific expertise in literary fiction for adults, as well as children's, middle grade, and young adult fiction.

She prides herself on providing thorough, honest, and kind feedback with an eye for potential and opportunities for growth. She knows what it's like to be in the trenches and looks forward to being in the trenches with you.
