Louis L. Picone Adult Learning Lecture "A History of Presidential Monuments"

I am really excited to be teaching a class on a topic I have studied extensively "A History of Presidential Monuments"

Do you know there are over 500 monuments & statues of the Presidents of the United States? What do they mean & what do they have to tell us about the history of America?

In addition to writing two books about the Presidents & the places we commemorate them, I completed my Masters Thesis on the history of Presidential Monuments & how they have shaped an American identity (I have personally visited over 200). I am also working on an upcoming book about a prominent single presidential monument. This is my first time sharing my expertise on this subject in an adult learning format.

The class is being facilitated by Great Horizons from the Morris (NJ) School District Community School. Registration is required. The cost is $31 for non-members & a discounted rate for members
